Dear Friends and Family,
I’m on the train from Wilmington, DE to Newark, NJ right now. It seems like I have the most time to sit, think, and write updates when I’m travelling!
Here’s my itinerary for the next few days…
Oct 8, 10pm- Arrive in South Asia (after 14 hour flight!)
Oct 9, 7am—Back to airport to Fly to Pan Town (domestic flight and then 5 hour jeep ride)
Oct 10-11- Storying meetings with 6 teams in Pan town (to check what work they have done, and set up times to visit them in their villages).
It’s going to be a really busy week of travel, jet-lag, remembering the national language, getting story work from the teams, and enabling them to press on in their projects. I’m also walking into the end of the monsoon season and lots of f
looding that has been happening there- I know some of the teams have been working in relief/refugee camps for those who don’t have any homes.
It was very hard saying goodbye to family, much harder this time than ever before- I think because I know now what it’s like to live/work in South Asia, and more than that, I know what it’s like to be away from family. While it will be hard, I am looking forward to getting back into the storying work and really acting as a servant to these dedicated teams who want their own people to know about the One who created them. I know there is much that is still unknown and it will be a lot of figuring it out as I go. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. It’s a blessing to partner with all of you in this task!!
I won’t have a lot of internet access, but I do look forward to hearing from you- your emails keep me connected to the western world – and provide a great source of encouragement.
Also, I am in the process of re-organizing my update lists, so if you receive this twice, please let me know. Or if you would rather not be on my update list, please let me know that too!

Just wanted to let you know I "stopped in" on your blog to check on you... we've been praying for you!! How is the foot?? How are you?? I know you are VERY busy. Love you and miss you SO MUCH!!
