Send Me Out!!!

Since living in Orlando, I have had the opportunity to share with visitors to my organization's Headquarters.  Typically someone shares each day, as part of an exhibit that displays the focus and purpose of the work we do.  Since one of my roommates organizes the speakers, she has enlisted me on a few occasions! :)  I don't enjoy public speaking, but I have come to realize I LOVE talking about my friends in 'Kahan,' 'Pan Town,' and 'Tea Town".  The next best thing to being there with them is talking about them and sharing their stories with others.

Anyway, the past few times I have shared, I have walked away feeling completely 're-recruited' for the work that I do.  I have also felt a strong urge of: 'I have to go back to be with the people!'  Talking about them is good, but it's not enough!!

A few weeks ago I heard this song by Fee.  I thought I had posted it, but guess I haven't yet!  As I post this song, and as I ask God to continue revealing to me where He wants me, I am thankful for all the roles and specific callings He has given to His children- whether here or there.  I am thankful that when He 'sends us out' - it may mean to the other side of the world, but it could also mean the other side of the room.  It could mean reaching out to someone we've known forever, or a complete stranger.  For His Glory and His Kingdom's sake, may we be ready and willing to be sent out- whatever that looks like and wherever that takes us!!  :)

Lyrics:
Jesus, Lord of my salvation, Savior of my soul.
Send me out to the world to make You known.
Jesus, King of every nation, this world's only hope.
Send me out to the world to make you known.
Send me out to the world.

CHORUS
I wanna be Your hands & feet.
I wanna be Your voice every time I speak.
I wanna run to the ones in need, in the name of Jesus.
I wanna give my life away, all for Your kingdom's sake.
Shine a light in the darkest place, in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus.

Carry to the broken-hearted mercy You Have shown.
Send me out to the world to make You known.
And to the ones in need of rescue, lead me I will go.
Send me out to the world to make you known.
Send me out to the world.

CHORUS

Here am I, I will go.
Send me out to make You known.
There is hope for every soul, send me out, send me out.
Here am I, I will go.
Send me out to make You known.
There is hope for every soul, send me out, send me out.

CHORUS (2 times)

What have you done with this quarantine time?

I’ll be blunt. This question has kind of driven me nuts the past few weeks. To be honest, we have done what we have always done. Worked ...
