Do not worry!

Here are a few thoughts after listening and sharing with a wise friend last night:

The thing you are worried about may very well be important to think about, but does it deserve the amount of energy you are giving it?  Again, considering it to some extent could be counted as wise, but being overly worried about it could also be the Enemy's way of frustrating you.  How sneaky of him to use something good to cause us to worry- which is bad.

When something comes your way that seems to demand more attention of you- first ask God when and how much thought to give to it, and wait on Him.  When he calls you to give consideration, immediately and faithfully respond to Him.  But until then, certainly don't worry about it.  I guarantee you He'll take care of it and take care of you!! :)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  ~ Phil 4:6-7 (NIV)

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." ~ Phil 4:6-7 (Message)
